Raise our glasses to a splendid 2013!

As I sit here now with ma butt on the tiled floor, leaning my back against the sofa and having my fingers skipping not-so-gracefully across the key, typing my last entry for the year 2013, on my last sunday night in 2013, I couldn't help but realize...... hey, there goes another year. And then there's this sinking feeling right to the pit of my stomach. Yes, I'm going back to Kedah for my studies. DON'T even get me started on all those stuffs that I will definitely miss T^T Time flies, in the blink of an eye. In a heartbeat. In every waking moment. It's funny how when we start each year with our new year resolutions,we think that we have a whole damn year ahead of us, but when the end finally comes, we begin to miss those tiny moments and wish that time can actually slow down. 

Tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day,
To the last syllable of recorded time,
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools;
.....

Macbeth just have to choose this moment to pop into my head and remind me of my form 1 poem LOL. Now it's beginning to sound depressing (>.<!)

Alright speaking of 2013. This year's Christmas was the same as usual. Church. Family. Friends. And of course, ma Saviour ;) He's more than a story, more than words on a page of history. I'm still hoping for that day when I can celebrate white Christmas. Ya know, wear those winter fur coats and feel the cotton-like-snow falling gently unto your shoulders~~~can't wait can't wait can't wait! And and and and then I wanna celebrate Christmas in Sarawak too!!  I wanna watch those Christmas parades that my 3 close Sarawak buddies had been talking about. A whole group of people parading out on the streets with the trumpets and the trombones and the drums and the saxaphones. I mean, how cool is that? ;)

Though it's gonna sound so cliché, but reflecting on 2013, I'm genuinely thankful for both the good and the bad times. I get to know and understand more of my friends who I thought I've known my entire life. Their sweet, adorable and caring side-a side so deep that even if you had shone a torchlight into it, you still couldn't see its core (: And then there's these friends, friends that I was too shy to approach before...We're finally talking, with a few pauses here and there, but still, I had finally taken my first baby step. Weee~~~  Two famous actors died this year. Cory Monteith and Paul Walker. Believe it or not, they're my fav! So news of them suddenly dying came as quite a shock. I always love Cory Monteith's singing. After his death, I stopped watching Glee cuz somehow, Glee without Finn Hudson is not Glee anymore :'( As for Paul Walker, I love the way he treat dogs. Even though it's in a movie (Eight below, go check it out! :D), the way a person truly loves a dog, acting or not, you can tell, even if you're watching through a screen. "Animal lovers are a special breed of humans, generous of spirit, full of empathy, perhaps a little prone to sentimentality, and with hearts as big as a cloudless sky". Credits to John Grogan for saying that! I believe it too. 

Btw, just so you guys know, I have braces now! It's really really really painful. I've been swallowing porridge and oats for the past few days. Now I talk like someone retarded. =.= My words tumbling out ungracefully one after another. Ahhh, forget about singing too. Anyway, it's still another step forward! Teeheee. Can't wait for the day when I can smile with perfect straight teeth :D
