CF camp 2010
Just few days ago I went to CF camp.=D. The venue this year is at Broga campsite,Semenyih.
So, we arrived there by bus, obviously xD
Followed by a short briefing about the usual camp rules and stuffs.

The camp rules are kinda weird like this:

and this:

Weird huh? Notice the "no-sleep-talking" thingy? I'd be the first one to break that rule xD
After briefing, groups are divided. We have to find out our group name by putting pieces of puzzles together.
There are 4 groups with the names of 4 bible characters which are Joseph, Daniel, Samuel, and Jacob.
This is the picture our group got. Nice?? ;) Group name is Joseph with Samuel Cheah as the group leader.
Our very first game is at the small basketball court. One member from the group will be blind-folded and that person have to find the way back to his group, listening to the sound of a particular animal the group made.

Samuel blind-folding Alvan hehe
We had lunch later on.
With the girls at one table and the guys at the other table. And don't ask me why, I dunno what's this sudden way of sitting separately. What are we now? Sexist? LOL
We went for activities by OUTBAC after lunch. It was fun =D We did rock climbing, flying fox, kayak and there's one activity call "leap of faith" where you have to jump from a tree to catch a bar hanging mid-air in front of the tree.
That's Anne Grace standing on top-flying fox
Wei Theng "flying" down hehe ;DRain came when we were half-way through the activities so we took shelter under a canopy which is the so-called cafeteria. While waiting for the rain to stop, we did some interesting activities too. There's one where we have to put all the nails on top of ONE nail.
My group is the 1st to figure out the solution. Geng hor?~~ =pThere's a point behind this game too. God is like the one nail standing beneath. While we are the many nails supported by him-all our burdens, all our sins, all our hope is on Him. Meaningful huh?
Soon, God answered our prayers and the rain stopped =D We carry on with our activities. There's one game too, where we have to block the many different holes in the big pail without allowing the water to leak out. It was fun for those people carrying water from the lake, but, not THAT easy for those who have to block the holes.
Carrying water
Blocking holes to prevent leakageBy the end of this game, my arms and legs ached. @@
We really enjoyed ourselves. After dinner, we had a session conducted by Ezreena with one "wrap-the-egg" game using newspapers and straws. By the end of it, Ezreena will drop the eggs from each group and see which egg did not break.Let me tell you what happened in my group ehehe :
person A: " Let's start wrapping!!"
Everybody: " OK wrap wrap!!"
person B: " No we need a plan!"
*everyone stops wrapping*
person B: " why not we put the straws 1st as the cushion, then the egg on top, then only we wrap?"
Everybody: "Ok wrap!"
*crack*
person C: "did you hear something?"
person D:" I think we broke it....."
everybody: "quick! Open the wrappings!!! *after opening* ........uh-oh...it...broke. *started laughing*
So Ezreena provided us with a new egg. And since we're out of time, we just wrap the egg in a nasi-lemak style LOL. So when our egg actually SURVIVED the fall, you should have seen each of our faces, our eyes almost pop out. XD
Next morning, we gather at 5a.m. and went for Broga hill climbing. It was tough. With the guys going so fast for who knows what reason, we don't really have time to rest.
......and....we made it!! AT LAST!!! The scenery was very nice =). We even saw guys from 8tv xD but I'm not really interested anyway.=p
group photo at the top. Woohoo~~ *grin*
Resting...
Some doing "Yoga" ehehehehe
Can see the sun rise? New day, new hope~~ ;)So we went back to our camp-site and had breakfast. After that we had 2 hours free time, so most of the people went for kayak, flying fox or rock climbing again. I did not go though... so had some "fellowship" with those who did not go hehe =D.
In the afternoon, we had sessions with Uncle Philip with some mini games. The photos below will tell. Lazy to elaborate.
Frisbee
Human tic-tac-toe =DAt night, we played CSI. Later on, we had "movie night" hehe. We brought snacks and drinks and watched "Get Smart" in the hall till 2am I guess...=) So that's the end of our 2nd day.

Haha...all in all, it was a really really reeeeeeally FUN camp. To my friends who said they regretted not going.....hehehe~~~ don't worry, there's still next year =D
