CF camp 2011
No matter how busy I am, I made it a point that I MUST blog about CF camp..every year. It's always the best camp and I wouldn't want to forget it...=) Wanna know why I like CF camp most?? It's because it's different from other camps that I've attended. In most camps, most people will compete with each other to fight for fame/position. But not CF camp. We certainly don't compete with each other in the hope of getting positions or anything. I personally think that one of the reasons many outsiders are attracted to join CF camp is because of the friendliness and warmness in it. :)
This year's CF camp venue was in Cameron Highland. And...it's a bit different from CF camps for the past few years, as in...less games, more sight-seeing, more chatting...to summarise it all, it's just like a relaxing camp XD
So, 1st day, we sat for 6 hours in the bus~~and when we came to the road with it's twist and turns, Anne Grace jokingly said "alright everybody! Prepare your plastic bags!~" But then, nobody got car sick XD
We checked in upon reaching and went straight for lunch.
This is where we check in.

After abit of briefing(separated into 4 groups: Jacinth, Onyx, Agate n I forgot the last one ==) and around one hour of resting, we were allowed to go around the town in Cameron Highland till dinner time. The pictures below will tell where we went... (:
Dinner was very delicious XD After that, we had our 1st session by Sieh Jin with the title "Alone with God". He reminded us about the passage on the vine and the branches. The session was kinda unique to me, and I enjoyed it alot. Most of all, I'm glad that my non-christian friends learnt something about Christianity (: So that's our 1st day. Like I said-relaxing camp~~ =D
2nd day, we woke at 7am for devotion. We continued with session 2 & 3 after breakfast, and that's the end of our sessions for CF camp. We had team-building after that. Oh yea did I tell you that it rained for 3 days continuously throughout our camp? The weather was cold enough...plus the rain, it's really very very veeeeeeeeery cold. So....Outdoor activities in cold weather?? Not really nice right.... We committees were worried but then, it turned out that everyone was very supportive and really into it, so, no worries =)
At night, we had "project runway" and sketch presentation by each group. Each group were given a funny title such as "selling sand in the desert", "selling ice-cream in Alaska" or "bringing the blind to the arcade center" XD
That's matthew^^. One of the "models" in project runway haha
Anne Grace laughing madly, as always ;D
So that's day 2. Day 3~~ We checked out early in the morning n went around Cameron Highland: Tea plantation, bee farm, strawberry farm, cactus farm.
Tea~
Don't let your cup overflow~XD

Weird looking cactuses
After touring, Pn Choo gave us 1 hour to have our lunch. N because the town in Cameron Highland is one busy town, all the restaurants are packed. So by the time we found a place, ordered our food, and wait for our food to come....1 hour gone~ Me and a few other friends were eating with Pn Choo.. so we took our time eating, assured that Pn Choo was with us. But the rest......unfortunate. They had to hurry to the extend that..........
Joanne Koong had to DRINK her tom yam mee hoon soup in the bus
(which I find it quite funny.. =p)
On the way back, we stopped at a waterfall( it was actually out of the plan XD)
Too bad we were not allowed to play in the water(for safety reasons)
That's the end of my last CF camp. I am gonna miss it so so so so much.....Oh...let me share with you a few sweet/funny moments =)
. Samuel hugging the guitar n laughing so hard that his eyes turned into slits during worship practiseXD
A bunch of roses given to me by my friends. And when asked what's the special occasion, they replied "You don't always need a reason to give someone something." Sweet right? (:
Walking under the rain together~
I find this meaningful
Guess that's all~ here's a group photo of all of us~! luv CF~ (;
