Miserable Billy
It's been a week. And billy is still sick. Well, what happened was, billy's left ear was swollen for quite some time..so FINALLY my dad decided to bring him to the vet,and the vet said Billy needs some operation done on his ears...you see, Billy's ears swelled because the blood vessels in his left ear burst. After the operation,we went to fetch Billy back....and one look at his ear is enough....I almost run away screaming, seriously....
The vet sewed some stitches on his ear, and now his ear looked like a badminton racket...you know, with all those lines criss-crossing to form the tic-tac-toe box...seriously, it looks scary...very very scary...it gives me the creeps. Well Billy had been crying and whining since then....poor thing...='( He gets emo very quickly, and I have to sit by him and talk to him....Every time he starts crying, my mum will go " Ru Yen~~ Billy is crying/barking/whining again..." And I will reply " Why me?!"... Only to get the answer "because he's your dog!!" Fine. I admit. It's my responsibility.
I have to feed him antibiotic twice a day, one in the morning, one at night. It took me almost 30 minutes to pry open his jaw, and another 30 minutes to stick the antibiotic down his throat only to have him vomiting it out again. In the end, I stuff the pill into his favourite food. Ex: fried chicken or bread etc....but before eating, he will use his paw to pry open the food....I can see the smug expression on his face when he uncover the antibiotic at last.......and I can almost imagine him saying "Ha!! I found the pill!!"....Haiz, what a stubborn dog.
Billy's wearing a cone around his head now, to prevent him from scratching his ear....You know, the cone...in the "Up" movie....the dogs call it "the cone of shame" lol... Well his ear is still not good, in fact, I think it's rotting........
Hello~~ I have exams coming up here....Pray that he heals quickly, ok?? Or else I can't concentrate...After studying for like, 30 minutes, I'll go and stroke him...and after another one hour, I'll be like "You poor little baby, are you ok?~~" Seriously, you cannot help it if you have such a cute dog at home.
