After school duties
Nowadays, I wonder whether the after school duties at the flyover bridge is still on. Everyday there are only a small number of prefects dutying. The rest?? I dunno. Some days they come, some days they don't. I felt like the only dumb, idiot prefect,doing the duty everyday. I dare say I don't see the same prefects everyday. Most skip one or two days. Me? Honestly, I wanted to skip but I dare not. Scared =/
So, yesterday, which was a Friday, I stood there again. Looking stupid, dumb and whichever word that can describe it...cuz I'm the only prefect there. The others...maybe they're on the way, or not. Well what I wanted to say is, 2 of my CF prefect friends came walking pass and one of them grab my arm and started pulling me away with them. "Are you so dumb to really duty there? Look! You're the only one. No one cares. Come on, let's go home." I have to admit, I felt truly comforted that both of them walked pass and pulled me home or else I'll stand there until duty ends, as what happened everyday, as I dare not skip duty myself.
Well, other prefects who read this and felt offended, sorry.
I'm really glad that I skipped duty, even for only one miserable day. Really thank God for brothers and sisters in Christ who cares...

ReplyDeletewhy are you dutying on the bridge? what's the purpose for it? if there is good reason then you should duty la, even if you're the only one there. but if it makes no sense you should speak up so you don't waste your time.
ReplyDeleteIt's not on the bridge. It's at the entrance to the the bridge. Basically just stand there for dunno what reasons and watch students pass. Doesn't make sense at all.Well,even if we speak up I don't think anybody will consider lol Haha nvm, problem will solve eventually XD
ReplyDeletelol, actually i also did skip my duty *quite* many times. not purposely but my class teacher always teach til the last sec. maybe you guys wil say we SHOULD come out earlier but even til bell rang, teacher will continue teach. plus my duty place is at blok arif, the main entrance of the school. GOSH, sometimes i went there (ok,i'm late). but ady no ppl. for wat i duty alone there.... aiks. wanna be earlier but always failed. hope new AJKS wil make the better system. and.... reli sooo FAR! n... a lot of new ajks oso not dutying zZZ... ==" ah, dislike after school duties. LOL. how bad i m.
