CF camp 2009

Back from cf camp for like...one week?? Well we did had an enjoyable time there... If don't believe go ask those who had been there =p

This year's cf camp venue is in Nube, training centre in Port Dickson. It's a 2 days one night camp(pity can't make it 3 days 2 nights)...Let's see...how do I begin...

Well my sister and I arrived at school at 8.00am... We chat and talked among our friends while waiting for the bus to arrive(oh by the way, there are quite a number of puppies in the drain next to the guardhouse)... So upon the arrival of the bus, attendance was taken by Lareina and off we go to Nube =D... We were separated into 5 groups after arriving...After that, John(cf president) and Stephen(vice president) briefed us about the camp rules and stuffs...

He was "voted" as group leader in my group( Lol actually he was kinda forced to bcum the group leader)=p

Okay after the briefing, we checked in to our dorms...The dorms are neat and tidy...AND with air-cons xD...At first the air-cons don't really serve their purposes. Whenever we came into the dorm after activities it's still baking hot...the air-cons only kinda do their work properly after midnight 'cause it's so cold and everyone is freezing in their beds lol... Hmmm the toilets...lol... never seen a public toilet so clean before, completed with a long stretch of mirrors at the left hand side hehe...

After all the packing, we gathered at "some place" and played our very first game(played many times during cf meetings xD). Well this game consists of 3 stages : egg,chicken,dinosaur. We have to versus our opponent with the "scissors-paper-stone" game and whoever wins get to go to the next stage. Whoever loses will have to go back to the stage before..Oh one more thing, we were required to imitate the actions while playing the game *grin*. Although the game was not really that exciting, everyone seem to enjoy themselves and laugh and play along..That's one thing that I enjoyed being with cf members =)

After the game, we played our 2nd game =D We shifted to another place to continue our activities 'cause we're making lots of noises while playing and Pn Choo was afraid that we might disturb some people inside the office. Not going into details about this game...lazy to explain lol...p/s:I still dunno how to make a paper aeroplane after the game TT

Lol after this came our 3rd game conducted by Pastor Philip =) It's kinda like playing volleyball. The only difference is that we're using balloons instead of volleyball and we have to sit on chairs...lol Marks will be deducted if whoever leaves the chair... Below is a picture of the game lol

In the 4th game, each group has to build a tower using newspapers and a roll of cellophane tape. The group with the tallest tower standing + firm will be the winner. My group came in 3rd lol... but who cares =p we really did enjoy ourselves while building AND destroying the tower haha... According to Stephen, the tower was build at 4.00pm and destroyed by us at 4.30pm... Poor tower...only managed to live for 30 minutes~~~ Anyway, Chee Jong's group came in 1st *applause* hehe

After all the 4 games, we went back to our dorms and changed into proper attires because we are going to the beach!!!!! Hmmm let's see...we have a nice walk down to the beach~~ lots of teamwork xD We played some games at the beach(all those games requires teamwork)... And in one of the games, we have to pass water using our hands to the person standing next to us till it reach the bucket. During the process we heard Clement asking Eliz, " what are you doing?! you're throwing away the water!!(something like dat) and Eliz explained that there's no water left so no point passing...Hearing their conversation, my group members told among ourselves that every drop of water is precious... Yep, water is precious..I definitely learned that =D Well there's one last game where we have to dip our head into the sea and squeeze the water from our hair into a bottle...I'm proud to say that our group got 1st!!! hahaha *grin*... We collected so much water that the water inside the bottle overflowed...That's the good thing of having many girls in a group xD

Later we get to have free time at the beach... Well me and a few others decided to head back to our dorms first 'cause we are freezing and we don't want to fight for toilets later... And of course I missed out some of the fun but I'm thankful that I'm not thrown into the sea(after hearing from my sis lol)

So we spent the whole afternoon playing and had a wonderful dinner later~~~ Well during dinner we really get to fellowship with one another and my friends and I spend most of our time laughing away while Lee Le do the talking lol... At night, we had a wonderful time of praise and worship and listened to a sermon by Pastor Philip... His topics are really interesting...will never get bored... So that's the end of our first day...we had supper and my friends and I stayed back and talked~~~ Later we went back to our dorm and fell asleep with charmaine's mp3 on throughout the night lol hehe...

2nd day~~~we woke up early to have devotion... And "somebody" prayed for me...how sweet of him~~~ =D Later on we had a nice breakfast and listened to a sermon by Aunty Pek Leng, which is also my youth teacher... Through her sermon I get to know more about Daniel lol...Good in interpreting dreams =D So...after the sermon...we gathered and it's prize giving time!! Prizes are given out and some people came out to give their "testimonies" about the camp.
