Pandu Puteri Camp

Just came back from Pandu Puteri camp and decided to start blogging right away in case I left out some of the important events kaka...^^

This Pandu Puteri camp is not any ordinary camp...It's an international camp!! And......because of this camp, I miss going to the prefect farewell TT...anyway, I still think it's worth it =p...Girl Guides from Hong Kong, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Singapore AND UNITED KINGDOMS join this Pandu Puteri Antarabangsa camp 2008 in Kuala Kangsar,Perak...

Group photo before leaving!!! =)

All the girl guides from different states were separated into groups... Negeri Sembilan and Kelantan is in 1 group and we are known as the "orangies" haha...

Orangies!!^^ Can see me? The blurr one =p

On the first day, all the students were separated into groups for different types of activities...My friends and I were separated TT but I managed to made new friends quickly... My first activity was jungle trekking... The paths in the jungle was so narrow that we are only allowed to walk in single file...It was raining heavily when we went jungle trekking and those who did not bring raincoat(me)were completely soaked through... Besides, the rainwater make the paths very slippery that we have to grip the roots and crawled on the ground... We have to "patah balik" as the rain was getting heavier... Well you haven't listen to the "best" part yet...We were all sheltering under a stall near the road and as you know, we were all soaked through that we have to take off the shoes and stuffs to squeeze out the water.... You know what? There were lots and lots of leech sticking on all(almost) the students...Walau eh...at that time, everyone was screaming LOL ...Thank goodness there are no leeches sticking on me...hehe...Unlike the girl guides from united kingdom..they purposely went and catch the fattest, longest leech and put it on their hand ==...There were also other activities like abseiling, water safety activities, dancing, handicraft and excursion...

We have "malam tradisional" night... it was very fun...all the participants from different states have to present a dance... AND Negeri Sembilan was the best!! The performance presented by Girl Guides of United Kingdom was very unique... They sang the "Goldilock and the 3 bears song" with some funny actions... everyone keeps shouting for anchor...There was also a "snack day" kaka...On that day, different types of foods were displayed... My friends and I went round to each stall tasting all types of foods hehe....

Snack day!! Taken this photo with a girl from Maldives(the tallest)

Singaporians^^

I managed to made some friends from United kingdom(Elizabeth, Sam & Georgia)...I enjoyed this camp very much and I did learned alot of general knowledge...I did not regret for not going to the prefect farewell...This camp is really worth participating...^^
p/s: Once a guide, always a guide!!! YAY!!! kaka^^

The second person(from the left) is from United Kingdom
