James's birthday

Today is a SPECIAL day because it is BMCF(Bukit Mewah Christian Fellowship Club)leader--James Choong Li Meng's birthday!! *cheers~*


We( committee members) celebrated his 17th birthday in the "Curry Leaf " restaurant... Before his birthday,we planned everything nicely and made sure that he did not suspect a thing! James thought that we were going to the restaurant for lunch and later on discuss the meeting...haha...

As this restaurant is very near to our school, we walked there immediately after school is over. Well, Hannah, Fionn and me went to the restaurant first to get ready all the stuffs. Arnan Koh was supposed to meet us there with a birthday cake for James but he arrived later than us...=="


This birthday celebration came as a surprise for James...Well,not quite a surprise because Samuel almost gave the game away when we were in the restaurant. James was asking Samuel what kind of noodles to eat and Samuel suddenly say,"Today is your birthday leh. Don't eat noodles la. Buy something better." My sister was sitting next to him at that moment and quickly punched Samuel to make him stop speaking...lol...Lucky for James that he didn't suspect anything...He only stared at Samuel for quite a while and said nothing.

Anyway, James got a surprise when the beautiful and delicious cake was presented in front of him...The cake was baked by Arnan & Hannah's mum...we sang a birthday song to him and cheered loudly when he cut the cake...I guess it was a memoriest moment for him..haha...after tasting the cake, you can tell that Arnan & Hannah's mum is definitely an excellent baker!

After the "cutting cake ceremony", some of the committee members gave him birthday gifts, including ME =) My family and I purposely went to Family Store and shop for his present for 1 hour! To tell you the truth, I still prefer birthday cards make by ourselves because it is the sincerity that matter most. But since this is his last year in school, I decided to buy him a present in memory of his birthday=p It was quite hard deciding what to buy for him as he is a boy(i dunno what boys like) I end up choosing the thing that "I" like and bought it for his birthday gift...My sister say I was acting stupidly because the present that I choose is definitely not suitable for a BOY,to make things worse, she said it was very girlish... But I don't think so! As long as James like his present(I think he did like his present=p),it's alright! *Can't give u a clue what that present was..hehe*

We ordered food for our lunch and had a wonderful time of fellowship...After that, we discussed plans for the coming Christian Fellowship Camp which is going to be held on the 24th-25th of May. Well,that's the end of James birthday!!
